Fun Times With Family

This last weekend was a fun filled one! Gma and Gpa Mergenthaler flew down from Washington to spend some time with us. Our town had a nice little easter egg hunt that we all went to and the boys had a great time. Carter just wanted to take the eggs out of his basket and not put them in. Silly Baby :) The Easter bunny came too. Although Tyler was a little scared of him. We loved spending time with Gma and Papa (as Ty calls him). We played games, did puzzles, watched movies, shopping, out to lunch, and much more fun things!
Since Carter will be turning 1 years old next month (CRAZY, I know I can't believe it either). He got to open his present from Gma and Gpa. He got a Tonka truck that he can sit on and ride or push and walk, which he loves best. He is walking a lot as long as he is pushing something around the house. So we think that he is pretty close to walking on his own. We also went out for ice cream. It was his first time having something sweet. His first bite he spit it out and made a funny face. I think that it was just to cold for him and he didn't know what to do. Then he slowly started to eat more of the ice cream. I have never been a big fan of ice cream so maybe he will be like his mommy. Daddy and Tyler on the other hand love ice cream and could eat it all day.
We enjoyed our weekend with family and will miss them. We love you Gma and Gpa Mergenthaler.
