My little baby boy

So, Sunday night we had a little incident at our house. Carter loves to play on the bottom two stairs. It is like his little couch that he reads at or plays with toys, eats snack, etc. He was sitting there and bent down to get a car (of course) When he came down too fast and landed on his foot wrong. He started to scream immediately, I was standing right there and watched him slowly get up and fall back down again. He couldn't walk and when he tried he would fall. His foot looked twisted and started to swell up.
The next morning he didn't look too good and would not walk anywhere. Tyler pushed him around the house in the stroller that we called his little wheelchair. Monday was a busy day. I had a doctors appt. that morning then we went to Carter's doctor and then headed over to get his right ankle x-rayed. Then I had to go to Physical Therapy for my back. So we were in doctors offices all day. It was long and hard on the boys especially since Carter wouldn't walk at all.
Matt left town for two days so life was a little crazy to say the least. Carter knew that I could not carry him everywhere since it hurt my back. So he started to crawl and scoot places. It was so sad to watch him at the park scooting around the sand.
Today we went back to the doctor to make sure the x-ray didn't say he had broken his ankle. He just sprained it, thankfully. He started to walk around slowly at the doctors office but he drags the foot a little bit behind. I feel so bad for him but I am glad that he is gettting better. The doctor said to keep trying and make him walk. He doesn't scream anymore when I stand him up so that is good. I am proud of him for being such a good sport through this all. We hope that he continues to improve and will start to walk more. Matt is home too so I am glad to have his help.

If you notice he is draging his right foot as he walks.
