Muffins with MOM

Today Tyler and I had a breakfast date at school. They had "Muffins with Mom". We got a muffin, some fruit, and chocolate milk. It was quite yummy! Tyler had fun seeing his friends and their moms. I enjoy having the one on one time with him too. :) I am impressed with his school because they do a lot of fun things like this with the parents. Back in the fall they had "Donuts with Dad" (which Ty also enjoyed with Daddy!) We also went to the "Mother/Son Dance" (I think that they also do something for the Father/Daughter dance).
It makes Tyler feel special to go to all of these fun things with us. We also have fun spending the time with him too. :)

Basketballer Mergenthaler

Tyler started Basketball last month and loves it. Tyler has two friends on his team that were also on his soccer team. So that makes it more fun for him. I feel like they are teaching too much too fast to little Kindergarteners but the kids are having fun. The Varsity Basketball players and their coaches teach the little kids out there on the court. While they are out there they play music and it is funny to watch Tyler. He is out there dancing instead of paying attention. I did get a couple of pictures when he did pay attention.
We have it every Saturday morning so it gets us up and going on the weekends. Tyler has even made a couple of shots. We are just working on the dribbling. He will get there. Just like with soccer it took him until the last game before he really got the hang of it. Plus he is only a Kindergartener! You can't ask to much of them. :)
