This summer sure is flying by. It is already July and we just celebrated the 4th already! On the 4th we went to our annual Pancake Breakfast at the church. The kids got to decorate their bikes/scooters/wagons for a parade. Our family all got matching shirts too. The boys wanted to decorate themselves too so, I got some stars and made american flags on their forehead with the stickers. They didn't stay on very long though.
We enjoyed our breakfast and hanging out with friends from the ward. They also had some old fashion cars come too, so it was like a mini car show. The boys had fun looking at the old cars. Afterwards we headed home and did a few things before going up to my brothers house.
My brother Steve has a lot of property out in the country and a swimming pool. Tyler who loves the water was in it the whole time. I think the only time he was out of the pool was when we ate and when we did fireworks. He loves to swim and has gotten a lot better this year with his swim class. The other two boys are not too sure of the water. There is a little part of the pool that is built for little ones. It took Carter about an hour before he actually got in and then another hour until he was okay with walking around the pool in the little area. Then he didn't want to get out either. He is our shy/quiet one so it takes him a while to warm up to anything/anyone. It was fun to get together with family and hang out. It was nice to see my brother and his boys. I don't get to see them too much. The boys loved playing with their cousins too. There was good food and wonderful company. The fireworks were nice too!

Looks like you had lots of fun. Pools are the best on the 4th.
